Baked Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients:

  • 8 -9 quarts popped corn
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:

  1. Pop corn.
  2. Melt brown sugar and butter.
  3. Add salt, white syrup and boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Add 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp soda.
  5. Pour over popcorn and stir well.
  6. Put in 250 degree oven and stir every 15 minutes for one hour.
  7. When out of the oven make sure you stir every 5 minutes to keep kernels from sticking together.
