Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 14 oz water , rinsed though soup can
  • 3/8 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. In a 1 1/2-qt saucepan, cook celery, onion and garlic in hot oil till tender but not brown.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except macaroni. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes.
  3. Add macaroni. Cover and continue cooking for 15 minutes or till macaroni is done.
